A collaboration between Singapore Airlines and Stitch by The Art Faculty, this unique tote is clothed in the iconic Singapore Airlines’ blue sarong kebaya fabric, designed and made by Stitch by The Art Faculty.
In an effort to upcycle and reduce waste by the airline, unutilised trimmings from the batik fabric used for the iconic sarong kebaya uniforms have been transformed into unique lifestyle products.
This tote bag was hand sewn by an artisan on the autism spectrum. Stitch is a worksite by Autism Resource Centre (Singapore) that provides skills training and income opportunities for differently adults who are suitable for craftsmanship and bespoke work.
