Between gently sloping hillsides and sunny valleys, the Domaine de Guilhon d'Aze is ideally located on acidic and sandy-silty soils called "Sables Fauves" which bring typicity and character to Armagnac.

The 60 hectare vineyard is run by the Tastet family from father to son, according to the simple and authentic principles of Reasoned Agriculture. It is from this environmentally friendly management that the local white grape varieties (Bacco and Ugni Blanc) are born from which the vintage Bas-Armagnacs are produced.

Tasting Note :
Brass colour to moderate shade. The bouquet has a fine range and intense crystallized fruit, plum, not much spicy. The taste (mellow, well-developed with a retro on the plum and a woody taste really subtle. Superb long and glass bottom on the cocoa. A lot of neatness for this armagnac.

France
