Kaiken is the Argentine venture of Mr Aurelio Montes, the respected winemaker of Chilean Montes Winery, and producer of the excellent Montes Alpha wines. “Kaiken” was taken after the wild geese that fly across the border between Chile and Argentina, much like the situation of Aurelio Montes travelling between these two countries.
Kaiken aims to produce premium Argentinian wines. Its Vistalba vineyard is managed biodynamically. Their belief is that only chemical-free vines can truly express their intrinsic personality!

Tasting Notes
It has an intense red color with violet hues. On the nose, the aromas of ripe black fruits such as blueberries and blackberries stand out, accompanied by spicy aromas typical of high altitude Malbec. In the mouth it presents all the silkiness of this varietal, the structure and freshness of the Petit Verdot, and the fruity notes provided by the Bonarda.
