The Crozes-Hermitage Rouge Albéric comes from old vines around 70 years old , from the main terroirs of the Domaine (Rochas, Monico, Les Chassis). This blend of beautiful Syrah brings femininity and spicy aromas. There is also a rustic side, on ripe fruit with very present tannins .

This blend of Syrah will give after a few years of aging a rich and balanced cuvée.

The Albéric cuvée is harvested manually. The extraction is done by pumping over and pigeage to respect the grape. Vinification lasts 30 days in stainless steel vats then continues for 12 months in Burgundy rooms or demi-muids .

Tasting Notes :
The robe is a frank ruby . On the nose, it is an explosion of black fruits : blackcurrant, blackberries, jammy red fruits, followed by notes of leather and tobacco . On the palate, liquorice dominates, to which is added a slight woodiness and notes of toast. Fleshy and endowed with great freshness. This wine presents silky and round tannins which suggest a promising future .
