Wine Accolades: Viivino -4.0
Brand Story:
The origins of the wine-growing business in the Beaumont family goes back over seven generations. Thierry Beaumont took over in 1991, creating the name Domaine des Beaumont. Domaine des Beaumont is a fairly new name when it comes to domaine-bottled wine, but Thierry Beaumont comes from a family that have been winemakers for several generations. It was with the 1999 vintage that Thierry Beaumont and his wife Sylvie decided to give it a go and starting bottling their own wine.
Now established in the three villages of Morey-Saint-Denis (the headquarter), Gevrey-Chambertin and Chambolle-Musigny, the estate has constantly invested in modern work tools, without neglecting the cultural, wine practices used by their ancestors. Practicing reasoned and sustainable viticulture, each grape and each bottle is cared for here by the hand of the winemaker.
Grape Varietal: 100% Pinot Noir
Tasting Notes: Powerful and fine. Red and black fruits, fine and complex. The palate is slightly woody, quite round tannins, elegant fresh. Typical of a Chambolle Musigny, well balanced with very slight grilled notes.
